Fargo Jet Center now Universal Avionics dealership

By Janice Wood · July 27, 2010 ·

Fargo Jet Center (FJC) has joined Tucson, Ariz.-based Universal Avionics worldwide network of authorized dealerships.

“Becoming a dealer for Universal Avionics was natural fit in the growth of our avionics organization,” said Darren Hall, vice president at Fargo Jet Center, which is at Fargo, N.D.’s Hector International Airport (FAR). “Their product offerings match very well with our primary focus of serving the turboprop and jet community.”

As part of the Universal Avionics Authorized Dealer network, Fargo Jet Center has the ability to access incentive programs and promotions as well as work with Universal’s product support organization.

Universal Avionics manufactures and markets a line of advanced avionics equipment, including  the UNS-1 SBAS/WAAS-enabled Flight Management Systems; the EFI- 890R Flat Panel Display; a line of Flat Panel Integrated Cockpit Displays; the Vision-1 Synthetic Vision System; the TAWS Terrain Awareness and Warning System; the ASU chart, E-DOCS, checklist display system; Cockpit Voice Recorders; Radio Control Units; an Engine Display System; and a host of other avionics equipment.

FJC is also an authorized service center for Hawker Beechcraft, Pilatus, Cessna, Raisbeck, Rockwell Collins, Honeywell, Garmin, Bendix/King, Avidyne, and S-Tec. As an Avfuel branded FBO, FJC also offers on-demand charter, aircraft sales and aircraft management services and operates a Cessna certified flight school.
