NASCAR team owner Jack Roush and a passenger, Brenda Strickland of Plymouth, Mich., were injured Tuesday evening when a Beechcraft Premier business jet registered to Roush Fenway Racing, was involved in a landing accident on Runway 18 at Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh during AirVenture.

Roush and Strickland were able to exit the jet after the crash, which happened about 6:15 p.m. Both were transported to local hospitals, where it was reported Roush underwent surgery. He is in serious, but stable, condition. Strickland was hospitalized with “non-life-threatening” injuries, according to EAA officials.
