Hundreds of people attended the first-ever EAA Spirit of Aviation Auction at AirVenture, where 50-plus airplanes were available for sale. The auction attracted a standing-room-only crowd, according to a report at EAA.org, which notes a diverse collection of homebuilts, warbirds, seaplanes, LSAs, jets, and other aircraft were up for auction.
