Rendezvous with legendary astronauts at autograph show

By Janice Wood · August 2, 2010 ·

Tickets are now available online for the world’s largest Astronaut Autograph and Memorabilia Show set for this Nov. 5-7 at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex in Florida.

The show, which benefits the nonprofit Astronaut Scholarship Foundation (ASF), is in its third year and promises to be the best yet, boasting such notable names as Mercury 7 astronaut Scott Carpenter, Apollo 13 astronaut Jim Lovell, and Apollo 16 moonwalker Charlie Duke, organizers note. In all, more than 30 celebrity astronauts and space icons will participate. Guests may bring their own items to be signed or purchase memorabilia at the show.

“You don’t have to be an autograph collector to take home the ultimate space experience this November,” said ASF Executive Director Linn LeBlanc. “Spending time with these American heroes is an amazing experience; one which show-goers will be able to cherish for the rest of their lives.”

Fans can choose from three ticket packages ranging from $25 -$550 and include such perks as astronaut autograph sessions, photo opportunities with astronauts, discussions led by legends, special astronaut dinners, space simulator rides, Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex admission, access to a space auction and much more. Show-only admission tickets are available for $10 (does not include KSCVC admission required for entry to the show area). Astronaut autographs are at an additional fee.
