Brandon Scott, of Reedsburg, Wisconsin, proposed to his girlfriend at Oshkosh, during a flight on EAA’s B-17 “Aluminum Overcast.”
According to a report at EAA.org, Scott, a member of the 147th Aviation Regiment of the Wisconsin National Guard, wanted his proposal to be unique. “From what I was told by the flight crew, this had never been done before,” he is quoted in the report, which you can read here.
By the way, she said yes.
