In most social settings the sight of a grown man wearing a cap with a spinning propeller on top of it would make women recoil in horror. But not at AirVenture. According to Jamie Till of Flight Line Radio, the cap seems to attract women, at least at air shows.
“They want to touch the propeller,” he said with a shrug. Till is happily married, but thinks that other men might benefit from wearing the colorful cap, which is why he and his partner, Don Costanza, are talking about pairing the propeller hats with the radios they sell at air shows so attendees can hear the announcers from anywhere on the grounds. The company also produces Flight Line Internet Radio, which General Aviation News regularly contributes to. Check it out at FlightLineInternetRadio.com.
