Castle & Cooke VNY teams with Chevron

By Janice Wood · August 9, 2010 ·

Castle & Cooke Aviation has partnered with the exclusive supplier of Chevron aviation fuel, The Hiller Group, to provide Jet A and avgas at Van Nuys Airport (VNY) in Southern California.

Castle & Cooke Aviation is an FBO based at Van Nuys Airport since 1981. In addition to providing fuel and aircraft support services, Castle & Cooke has a variety of based tenants, including charter and management companies, as well as several Fortune 500 clients, which together account for more than 65 jet aircraft under roof. The company also  recently hired Brian Woodruff as operations manager, Irene Magglos as customer service manager, and Marsella Alvarado as customer service representative.

Castle maintains FBOs in Van Nuys, Honolulu, and Everett, Washington. In 2009, Castle & Cooke Aviation received approval from the Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) for another 30-year lease at Van Nuys (VNY) and in so doing gained approval for full FBO rights and privileges.
