Private planes have been taking off and landing at the former Norton Air Force in San Bernandino, California, for several months. On Friday, Aug. 6, general aviation became official when the Million Air Facility at the San Bernardino International Airport (SBD) formally opened for business, according to a report in The Sun, the local newspaper, which quotes Scot Spencer, CEO of the new Million Air facility:
“This is the first big aviation project to be completed at the San Bernardino International Airport.”
