‘Mustang Ease Into the Saddle’ unveiled

By Janice Wood · August 12, 2010 ·

Cessna Aircraft Co. unveiled its new “Mustang Ease Into the Saddle” Program for new Citation Mustang customers at this year’s AirVenture in Oshkosh.

“This limited-time program is designed to remove apprehension some customers may feel as they transition from a single-engine or a turboprop aircraft into a business jet,” said Roger Whyte, Cessna’s senior vice president of sales and marketing. “As part of the program, Cessna corporate pilots will act as a ‘coach’ in a customer’s new Mustang. The Cessna ‘coach’ will help familiarize the customer with normal operations and procedures prior to the customer’s training at FlightSafety. We want safe and comfortable transitions for all of our new Mustang customers.”

Cessna has delivered more than 300 Mustangs to customers around the world. A typically equipped Mustang has a retail price of just over $3 million. For more information: Cessna.com
