Coradine Aviation Systems has unveiled an update to its software for pilots using Apple’s iPhone and iPod Touch: LogTen Pro for the iPhone.
This is the third update for Coradine’s iPhone Logbook software and offers many new features, according to company officials. “We’ve had fantastic feedback on the current LogTen Mobile Application, including some great suggestions from pilots. LogTen Pro iPhone answers our customers call for greater flexibility and enhanced usability,” said Coradine CEO, founder and pilot Noah Lieberman.
With LogTen Pro iPhone, pilots can now:
- Take their entire Logbook with them, giving them access to all their information, anytime, anywhere,
- Track trips independently of flights, enabling them to track all time spent on a trip (in the air and on the ground) as well as expenses for the trip – this is a particularly helpful feature for commercial and business pilots,
- Generate and view reports right on their iPhone and then publish them to Coradine’s secure Logten.com site to share online.
Other innovative new features include: Improved searching and managing capabilities for all flights, aircraft, types, places, people and certificates; simpler syncing; a database of more than 28,000 airports and landing sites; as well as the ability to easily attach photos taken with their iPhone to people, places, aircraft, etc.
The new “Radar” view gives user configurable dynamic currency and limits groups to track virtually any regulation worldwide, as well as general Smart Groups, enabling pilots to track anything about their flying, from how much tailwheel time they have to when the last time Joe Smith was the relief pilot on their Dubai trip.
LogTen Pro iPhone costs $49.99US, but is on introductory offer until Sept. 1 for $24.99.
