2011 FAR/AIM Series now available

By Janice Wood · September 13, 2010 ·

ASA’s 2011 FAR/AIM Series is now available. Both the FAR for Flight Crew and FAR for Aviation Maintenance Technicians are currently available. The FAR/AIM book will be available Sept. 15.

ASA consolidates the FAA regulations and procedures into three reference books with information pertinent to pilots, flight crew, and aviation maintenance technicians (AMTs). In all ASA FAR/AIM Series books the changes are marked clearly for quick reference, and indexes provide clear and intuitive access to the subject matter and paragraph number or regulation. The Aeronautical Information Manual is reformatted for greater readability, ASA officials note. The FAR/AIM has a user-friendly combined FAR and AIM index at the back of the book for quick and easy lookups.

FAR/AIM Series Updates are available at ASAa2Fly.com/FARUpdate as free downloads and/or through a free email subscription service for automatic notification when a rule has changed. This free Update Service ensures pilots stay informed on regulation changes throughout the year.

The FAR/AIM and FAR-FC are available together in a single app for the Apple iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch at ASA2Fly.com/apps. Also available are the FAR/AIM Flashcards app.
