Historic Tooele County-Wendover Airport moves to Avfuel

By Janice Wood · September 15, 2010 ·

Tooele County-Wendover Airport (ENV) of Utah has joined the Avfuel network of branded FBOs. ENV now offers Avfuel Contract Fuel pricing and AVTRIP rewards points on qualified purchases.

The airport is based at the historic Wendover Airbase, just off I-80 at the edge of the world-famous Bonneville Salt Flats of Utah’s west desert.

Pilots flying in can visit the World War II bomber museum while being refueled. Wendover’s new terminal complements the existing World War II hangars, and renovations to the Army Air Force base  are always ongoing. Wendover hosts events from a GA fly-in to supporting 150+ marine paratroopers jumping from C-130s on the airfield. The airport is currently getting ready to host its Wendover Wings and Wheels Air Show on Sept. 25. The show will feature F-16 and F/A-18 demos and an F4U Corsair demo. Other Warbirds will be on display as well.
