One month after being recognized as one of Wichita’s top CFOs, Cindy Highbarger is being honored again — this time with a promotion to the position of vice president of internal operations at Mid-Continent Instruments.
Highbarger’s responsibilities expand to include the engineering and quality assurance departments. As in her role as CFO, she remains head of manufacturing, repair station, information technology, human resources, accounting, purchasing, material control and shipping/receiving.
Mid-Continent Instruments manufactures aircraft instruments for the general aviation industry. Services at the Wichita facility include developing and manufacturing new instruments and avionics products, overhaul and repair. Mid-Continent Instruments–West in Van Nuys, Calif., provides new instrument sales and is an instrument overhaul shop.
