The newly renovated FBO at Bessemer Airport (EKY) in Alabama has joined the Avfuel network of branded dealers.
The FBO, which is under a new management team, awards participating pilots with AVTRIP points on fuel purchases, and also offers the Avfuel Contract Fuel program for significant jet fuel savings.
With minimal air congestion, and proximity to Birmingham, Alabama, the Bessemer Airport FBO is an alternative to busier regional airports. It’s also less expensive, with zero ramp or landing fees, FBO officials point out, noting the airport boasts a 6,000-foot runway, ILS, GPS and BHM approach and department control, as well as available hangar space.
The Bessemer Airport FBO is open 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. with on-call service. It offers crew cars, on-site rental cars, catering, a reception area, a dedicated pilot lounge equipped with internet access, snooze room and a variety of amenities.
