The AOPA Air Safety Institute will host a free webinar, “Takeoffs & Landings: The Expert Approach,” throughout the month of October.
The institute’s chief flight instructor, JJ Greenway, and special guest Jason Blair, executive director of the National Association of Flight Instructors (NAFI), will present an in-depth discussion of the art and science of takeoffs and landings. “We’ll move beyond the basics of safety and look at techniques the experts use to get it done gracefully (almost) every time,” institute officials note.
The webinar qualifies toward the AOPA Accident Forgiveness and FAA WINGS programs. The first showing is Tuesday, Oct. 12, at noon Eastern time and 7 p.m. Eastern time, followed by Oct. 18 at 2 p.m. and 9 p.m. Central time and Oct. 28 at 1 p.m. and 8 p.m. Pacific time.
