Free tax webinar on bonus depreciation set

By Janice Wood · October 7, 2010 ·

Wolcott & Associates will present a free aviation tax webinar “Bonus Depreciation for Aircraft is Back!” Oct. 12.

Bonus depreciation and increased write-off for capital purchases was signed into law in H.R 5297 Small Business Jobs Act of 2010. The rules provide excellent tax benefits for those in a position to take advantage of the provisions, according to officials with the accounting firm. This free webinar will explain the aircraft-related benefits, regulations, and changes of the act, including 50% bonus depreciation rules, increased Sec. 179 expensing, loss carryback provisions, and effective dates.

The webinar is slated for Tuesday, Oct. 12, at 2 p.m EDT.
