Becker Avionics debuts new cabin audio control unit

By Janice Wood · October 11, 2010 ·

Becker Avionics has introduced its newest Audio Control Unit (ACU) ACU6101 Cabin Audio Control Panel.

Designed for rotary and fixed-wing aircraft, the ACU6101 Cabin Audio Control Panel is optimized for restricted panel size applications and offers up to eight communication channels, two navigation receivers, low power consumption, as well as reduced weight and size, according to company officials.

The ACU6101 is part of the Digital Voice Communication System (DVCS 6100). It serves as a cabin audio control unit for the REU6100 Remote Electronic Unit. A maximum of six Audio Control Units can be connected to one Remote Electronic Unit.
