Gleim introduces free help for Part 141 approval

By Janice Wood · October 14, 2010 ·

To demystify the Part 141 approval process, Gleim offers a new, user-friendly online resource that can complete the appropriate paperwork automatically, plus a great deal more. Best of all: It’s free to use.

Using FAA Order 8900, Advisory Circular 141-1A, the combined experience of a multitude of pilot schools, and feedback from FAA inspectors who handle Part 141 certification, Gleim created an Online Part 141 Application Tool that allows schools to input their data and get professionally prepared documentation automatically in seconds. The system not only creates your FAA paperwork, but also checks it for accuracy based on common documentation errors reported to Gleim by FAA inspectors and partner flight schools.

“Operating a flight school is tough work,” says company president Dr. Irvin Gleim. “We want to make it easier for schools to train and retain pilots from start to finish. This online tool is one very important aspect of our approach.”

The Gleim Online Part 141 Application Tool will guide you through every step of the certification process with a document and action checklist while also providing valuable resources like streaming tutorial presentations, sample documents, and FAA documentation.

The online tool is free to use. Access the Gleim Online Part 141 Application Tool here.
