Growth fuels hiring at Eagle Creek Aviation Services

By Janice Wood · October 18, 2010 ·

Eagle Creek Aviation Services, a provider of aircraft service, new and used aircraft sales, and aircraft charter and management, plans to hire 25 full-time and part-time employees in response to the company’s service demand level and sales growth. Recruiting efforts will begin immediately and hiring will continue through the first quarter of 2011.

The majority of positions will be filled by aircraft technicians, although growth is planned in sales and management staff as well. Due to increased Embraer Phenom operational opportunities, additional pilots will also be recruited.

Besides the Phenom, the company also specializes in Twin Commander turboprop, Cessna Citation jet and piston-powered aircraft sales and service. The company’s Indianapolis location serves as an Embraer Phenom Authorized Service Center. The company also operates Naples Jet Center in Naples, Florida, and most recently welcomed Seattle-based American Avionics to its family of companies.

“This increase in staffing will help us keep up with growing demand for our wide range of aviation services,” said Matt Hagans, Eagle Creek’s CEO. “2010 has exceeded our expectations, and we are projecting further growth in all our business units and locations in 2011 and beyond.”

“We have great business relationships with Cessna, Embraer, Honeywell, Twin Commander and others who have allowed us to offer an attractive product and service mix in this challenging market,” Hagans added. “Our service center pipeline is full, and we have several promising projects pending. In addition, although our airframe service at American Avionics, while new, shows great promise and the demand in the Northwest is substantial. We expect to attract the most talented personnel to join us in meeting the growing demand for our services.”
