True Blue Power takes charge

By Janice Wood · October 20, 2010 ·

Mid-Continent Instruments has unveiled the latest addition to its product line for general aviation — True Blue Power.

The new line of power products, designed and manufactured by Mid-Continent Instruments, expands the company’s offerings to include aircraft inverters and emergency batteries.

Mid-Continent MD50 The MD50 500VA Static Inverter is 30% smaller than traditional inverters, said company officials, who note it supplies in-flight power for various cabin accessories, such as laptops, cell phones and MP3 players. Thisnext-generation inverter is TSO certified and delivers 500 watts of power.

“We are excited to roll out the True Blue Power line,” said Tom Genovese, director of sales for Mid-Continent Instruments. “Pilots have always looked to us to provide instruments that they can trust. Our customers appreciate an exceptional level of service and can be confident that our new products are as solid as our instruments.”
