Team Strega at Reno

By Janice Wood · October 21, 2010 ·

LiveAirShowTV continues its coverage of the 2010 Reno National Championship Air Races with a look at Team Strega. Seven-time Unlimited Gold Champion Bill “Tiger” Destefani has put his P-51 Mustang Strega in the hands of young Steven Hinton, who flew the plane to victory in 2009, becoming the youngest Reno Unlimited Champion since his father, Steven Hinton did it in 1978.

LiveAirShowTV spent some time in the Strega pit with Tiger and Steven to get the inside story. Take a look at this story on the LiveAirShowTV YouTube Channel

More stories are in the works from Reno, as well as a look inside the world’s only flying B-29 “FIFI” from the CAF Midland Air Show.
