Just released for Apple’s iPhone and iPod Touch is Fly Away Simulation’s flight simulator app, which features live flight simulator topics delivered to users’ mobile devices so that they can keep up to date with the latest flight sim topics while on the move.
The free app, which is now available globally to all users via iTunes or the App Store, keeps users up-to-date on the latest flight simulator news, which is written by the in-house team of editors at Fly Away Simulation and updated daily.
Along with flight simulator news, the app will also provide users with information on the most recent payware flight sim products such as aircraft, scenery and utilities for a wide range of simulator packages such as Microsoft Flight Simulator or X-Plane.
Users of the app can also subscribe to the flight simulator screenshots and aviation images gallery, featured on the Fly Away Simulation website.
The app is free to use, however having an account with Fly Away Simulation will enable users to comment on pictures, discuss topics in the flight simulator forums and access the library of various flight simulator downloads and add-ons, company officials said.
Also featured in the app is a favorites function, allowing users to bookmark their favorite topics and news articles. The app will remember this selection and display it on the favorites panel.
