Kneeboard for iPad debuts

By Janice Wood · October 28, 2010 ·

New Sky Products, LLC has introduced AppStation, an iPad kneeboard for aviation, which gives the user the ability to safely manipulate the iPad while flying or conducting other tasks. The unit is a solution that does not require an additional mounting device/kit or expensive, complicated installation, according to company officials.

Constructed of high performance polycarbonate material, the AppStation has an adjustable leg strap and  includes a built-in storage cubby for important items such as a flashlight, iPad stylus, and pens/pencils. It comes in black and is currently available for all Apple iPad models. Suggested retail price is $69.95.
