GRT Avionics adds map features

By Janice Wood · November 2, 2010 ·

GRT Avionics has completed the addition of new map features with its latest software update. These new features, which include lakes, rivers, roads, railroads, state boundaries, and cities, are available on all GRT Avionics EFIS products.

“This adds even greater situational awareness to the pilot of light sport and amateur-built aircraft regardless of weather conditions, a bright sunny day or a night flight in the clouds,” says Carlos Fernandez of GRT Avionics.

GRT Avionics/Grand Rapids Technologies, Inc. was founded in 1992 and has grown to be a leader in avionics for amateur-built and light sport aircraft.
