Remos Aircraft will be operating its new sales, distribution and service center from the LoPresti facility at the Sebastian Airport (X26) in Florida. Remos’ sales and marketing, directed by Earle Boyter, has set up offices in the administration building with LoPresti Aviation.
The German based Light Sport Aircraft manufacturer chose its new location because of its proximity to several key factors: Florida’s growing market for its new aircraft and access to the LoPresti engineering team, which offers total maintenance support for this recreational aircraft, company officials said.
Rj Siegel, CEO of LoPresti Aviation and Apple computer alumni, remarked: “We are very strong supporters of the recreational component of the LSA market. When we jumped in four years ago, most of GA was dismissive of this market, much the way computer manufacturers at the time were dismissive of smart phones. ‘Low margins, small market,’ they said. Apple’s iPhone changed that thinking. We believe the LSA market is equally a sleeping giant and we have focused our engineering expertise to support it. We feel privileged that Remos is like-minded and selected LoPresti as their partner in this venture.”
“When you combine the excellent reputation that LoPresti Aviation has for service, along with their Rotax qualified technicians and one of the best composite shops in the world…. you have a perfect match,” Boyter said. “The affiliation with LoPresti Aviation is a natural fit for Remos. ”
