Barefoot Bandit pleads not guilty

By Janice Wood · November 21, 2010 ·

Colton Harris-Moore, the young man dubbed as the “barefoot bandit” pleaded not guilty Nov. 18 in federal court to a series of charges, including stealing several GA airplanes, according to KIRO-TV in Seattle. Harris-Moore, indicted on charges of interstate transportation of a stolen aircraft and being a fugitive in possession of a firearm, spent more than two years on the run, until police in the Bahamas arrested him in July after police said he stole a $340,000 private plane from an Indiana hangar and crash-landed it on the island of Eleuthera.
