Belfort Instrument Co. installed its DigiWxTM Automated Weather Observation system (AWOS) at the Sky Manor Airport (N40), in Pittstown, N.J.
The AWOS AV provides real-time wind speed, wind direction, temperature, relative humidity, dewpoint and altimeter setting and visibility information on a graphical displaying the FBO office, over the airport’s Unicom radio, via dial-in telephone, and on the Internet.
According to Adam Silverstein, manager of Sky Manor: “The DigiWx is up and running and providing real-time weather to our pilots. The addition of the weather station ensures our commitment to safe flight operations for everyone using the airport.”
