Hangar Ten at MKC now 24/7

By Janice Wood · November 28, 2010 ·

Following the recent grand opening of Phase II, Hangar Ten at MKC is expanding its hours of operations to 24 hours, seven days per week.

The new hours correspond with an increase in customer demand for additional access to the new 55,000-square-foot facility, located at the Northwest end of the Charles B. Wheeler Downtown Airport (MKC) in Kansas City, Mo., FBO officials said.

With a restored Lockheed “Connie” Constellation as a backdrop, the grand opening of Phase II of the Hangar Ten aviation services complex was celebrated with Missouri Governor Jay Nixon and owner James Stowers among those cutting a ceremonial ribbon.

The master-planned complex includes an expansive hangar and an executive terminal that houses a fully equipped fitness center. Other amenities include overnight pilot quarters, conference and meeting facilities, customer and pilot’s lounges and a flight planning area. For more information: 816-949-8900 or Hangar10MKC.com
