SIFCO Applied Surface Concepts (ASC) has introduced new portable kits for small LHE and No Bake Cadmium touch-up applications. The kits, specifically designed for the aviation industry, are ideal for AOG operations where repair times are critical, company officials said.
“We designed these touchup kits for those situations where time is of the essence,” said SIFCO Aerospace Market Manager Scott Peterson. “When aircraft are grounded for critical repairs revenue is at risk, so having an easily transportable kit with all the equipment necessary for the repair makes it simple to quickly get the equipment to the aircraft.”
The Cadmium Touchup Kits come in both a No Bake and LHE formulation to meet OEM requirements, and contain everything a trained technician needs to quickly make repairs and get the aircraft back into service.
