Dick Rutan stars in Fly Right Films

By Janice Wood · December 7, 2010 ·

Here’s an idea for the pilot on your gift list: The Aviator Series, produced by Fly Right Films, which includes Volume One, “Attitude Flying with Dick Rutan” and Volume Two “Decision Making.” The pair constitute a masters program for serious pilots, say the producers.

“Our mission is to change the culture of aviation and flight training, with respect to pilot attitudes towards continuing education, and pilot demand for high quality training resources,” says Fly Right Films Owner and Producer Charlie Hewitt.

Filmed entirely in High-Definition (HD), the flying sequences and 5.1 Dolby Surround soundtrack create an experience that puts you right in the cockpit, he adds.

With his exceptional resume, Air Force veteran and test pilot Dick Rutan has earned the respect of pilots everywhere, yet he is disarmingly frank about his own mistakes, in the hope that others can learn from his experiences. His stories and demonstrations throughout The Aviator Series illustrate the concepts and techniques presented, making them memorable and applicable.
