Rick Rademacher, who has been a pilot for more than 40 years, is the longtime proprietor of a computer store called The Hackerey in Urbana, Ohio. This year he decided to combine business with pleasure when putting up his Christmas decorations, decorating a Kolb draped with flashing LED Christmas lights and synced with an audio broadcast over the 98.7 FM frequency for passersby, according to a report at EAA.org. The story quotes him:
“Another way to promote the love of aviation is by taking aircraft to the people. So, I purchased a 1984 Kolb to use as my Christmas display. Also plan to use it in parades this summer. Just having fun!”
