An eight-week Instrument Pilot Ground/Refresher Webinar from Bob Miller Flight Training will begin Jan. 13, 2011.
The course is designed for the serious instrument pilot who wants to review all the critical components of the complex world of IFR flight, according to Miller. The course will include the organization and structure of the national airspace system as it pertains to the instrument pilot, as well as terminal instrument procedures, low and high altitude en route charts, arrival and departure procedures, MVAs, and the complexities of precision RNAV/GPS approach procedures. The course also will take a close look at what lies in the future, including ADS-B and NextGen, he said.
You can elect to participate either online through your computer or attend the webinar sessions “live” in the flight school classroom at the Buffalo-Lancaster Airport (BQR) in New York. Each session will be recorded for later playback.
Cost: $149.
