Diamond Aircraft survives tough times

By Janice Wood · December 26, 2010 ·

To say it has been a challenging few years for Diamond Aircraft Industries Inc. would be an understatement, begins a feature story on the company in The Montreal Gazette. It continues:

Since the market for piston-propelled aircraft went into a freefall, the small, London, Ont.,-based plane maker has witnessed its engine supplier go belly up, and its deliveries fall by about 80%, causing it to lay off about a quarter of its staff and delay the launch of its first jet-powered aircraft, the so-called DJET, by two years. But Diamond Aircraft is a survivor, claims the story, which you can read here.
