Elliott Aviation names Baeder GM at MLI

By Janice Wood · December 29, 2010 ·

Elliott Aviation, a Moline, Ill.-based business aviation services company, has named 33-year industry veteran Rich Baeder vice president and general manager at Elliott’s headquarters facility at Quad City International Airport (MLI).

Baeder joins Elliott Aviation from Duncan Aviation, Lincoln, Neb., where he was recently manager of government and special programs.

“Rich brings vast knowledge and proven leadership experience in our key operations of service, avionics, paint and interior services,” said Wynn Elliott, Chairman and CEO, Elliott Aviation. “We are excited to have him leading the charge here at our Moline facility.”

Baeder, a licensed pilot and certified A&P mechanic, has 33 years of aviation experience, beginning with his service in the U.S. Marine Corps in 1977. He joined Duncan Aviation in 1981 and served as airframe services manager and vice president of aircraft and FBO services. From 1998-2008, he served as a member of the Duncan Aviation leadership team, providing leadership and expertise in the areas of airframe, engine, paint, line and customer service.
