Paragon Aviation Group takes off

By Janice Wood · January 2, 2011 ·

Delks Valley Oil, a veteran provider and supplier of aviation fuels and related services, has formed the Paragon Aviation Group, which will represent a group of independent FBOs and small chains.

Paragon Aviation Group will provide a communication platform throughout the network with state of the art programs and flight tracking software provided by Argus. Each FBO will undergo an audit of facility and services, company officials said, noting a foundation of core standards has been developed for each FBO to adhere to and uphold to remain in the network.

“Paragon Aviation Group is the next step for successful independent FBOs to take in order to maximize savings, increase their customer sales, and compete with the large chains,” stated Mike Delk, president of PAG. “Until now, the benefits available to our members have only been available to those FBOs that are part of a corporate network, chain or franchise. Our expertise allows us to bring these benefits to these first-class independent operators through the formation of Paragon Aviation Group.”

Paragon Aviation Group, based in Houston, is owned and operated by Delk’s Valley Oil, a family business comprised of Mike Delk, Megan Delk Barnes and Molly LeBlanc.
