Freestream Aircraft adds interior designer

By Janice Wood · January 6, 2011 ·

Freestream Aircraft Limited, a preowned business jet broker, has appointed Sarah Mespelt Design Coordinator to manage the Freestream Interior Room.

Based at Teterboro Airport, Mespelt will provide Freestream clients with complete interior consulting and specification services for pre-owned aircraft refurbishment, as well as new aircraft completions, according to company officials. Working with vendors to coordinate design, quality, cost, and delivery, she will serve as liaison between Freestream and the completion centers, monitoring each project and keeping clients updated throughout the completion or refurbishment process, officials add.

Freestream’s Interior Room at Teterboro will offer a wide range of fabric and leather swatches; a complete range of carpet, wood and laminate samples; as well as samples of other interior furnishings like china and crystal. This will enable Freestream to provide their clients with interiors tailored to their specific requirements for seating, work space, entertainment cabinetry and galleys.

Prior to joining Freestream, Mespelt served as an interior designer with Gulfstream Aerospace and Jet Aviation. She began her aviation design management career upon graduating with degrees in Architecture and Interior design from Savannah College of Art and Design.
