Kromer joins SimCom

Bob Kromer has joined SimCom Training International team as Vice President, Marketing. Prior to joining SimCom, he was most Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Customer Service at Piper Aircraft, Inc. in Vero Beach, Florida.

Throughout his 30-year career in general aviation, Kromer has also held various management and engineering positions at Cessna, Mooney, and Sino Swearingen Aircraft Corporations. In addition, he has flown as an engineering test pilot and flight test engineer involved in the development and FAA certification of such aircraft as the Cessna Model P210N, the Cessna Citation Model 650, the Sino Swearingen SJ30 and various Mooney models. Kromer holds a B.S. degree in Aerospace Engineering from Texas A&M University and has logged over 3,000 flight hours in a variety of general aviation piston, turboprop and jet aircraft.

SimCom Training Centers offers simulator training programs for an array of aircraft, including the Aerostar series; Beechjet 400 series; Beech Baron/Duke series; Cessna 300/400 series; CitationJet, CJ1, CJ2 and CJ3; Citation I/II/SII/V; Citation Bravo, Ultra and Encore; Dornier 328 Jet; Eclipse EA-500; Falcon 20; JetPROP; Hawker 400XP; Hawker 400/700/800/800XP; Jetstream 41; King Air 90/100/200/300/350; Learjet 20/30 series; Learjet 55; Mitsubishi MU-2 series; Mitsubishi MU-300 series; Pilatus PC-12; Piper Cheyenne I/II/III; Piper Malibu, Matrix, Mirage, Meridian, Navajo, Saratoga, and Seneca series; Socata TBM 700/850; and Westwind.

SimCom is the factory authorized training provider for the Eclipse EA-500 (in the Americas), Pilatus PC-12 (in the Americas), Socata TBM (in North America and Mexico), Mitsubishi MU-2 and the Piper Meridian, Mirage, Malibu, Matrix, Seneca and Saratoga aircraft.

Headquartered in Orlando, Florida, SimCom operates training facilities in Orlando and Glendale and Scottsdale, Arizona. Training on one of the company’s two J-41 simulators is conducted at the Eastern Airways headquarters at Humberside International Airport in Kirmington, UK.
