Sporty’s debuts new flight gear bag

By Janice Wood · January 12, 2011 ·

Sporty’s Flight Gear Mission Bag is a new design, created so that one flight bag is appropriate for any trip. The bag can be customized with Sporty’s MyBag system, which allows you to personalize or expand your flight bag with a variety of snap-on accessories.

“This Mission Bag is a great example of a Sporty’s product designed by pilots for pilots,” says Sporty’s Vice President John Zimmerman. “This bag fits between the seats, has a small footprint, but holds everything you need.”

The Mission Bag opens at the top so that, when placed between the airplane seats, items stored in the bag are easily retrievable. External pockets store a flashlight, pen, fuel tester and charts while internal file folders are ideal for organizing charts or paperwork.

Measuring 10”w x 8”d x 13”h, Sporty’s Mission Bag has a hard rubber handle and shoulder strap. Sporty’s will embroider up to three initials on this (or any) Flight Gear bag.

Price: $62.95.  Optional accessories are also available, including a Transceiver Holder for $14.95, a Sunglasses Holder for $9.95 and a padded headset case for $18.95.
