First-ever SOAR Key West this Saturday

By Janice Wood · February 1, 2011 ·

The first-ever Southernmost Openhouse & Aviation Review (SOAR) Key West is being held at Key West International Airport (EYW) on Saturday, Feb. 5, from 9-4. This free to the public, family-friendly aviation event is being produced by a new not-for-profit organization called Friends of the Airport. SOAR will include static display aircraft to check out, airplane rides to be experienced (free to kids 8-17), the largest aviation theme kids zone in the US to play in, free raffle prizes to win, aviation exhibits and merchandise booths to enjoy, food and beverage vendors, and access to the new terminal to explore.
