LAKELAND, Fla. – The Hawker Beechcraft Global Customer Support (GCS) factory-owned service centers have received the Diamond Award from the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) Maintenance Technician Program. All eight Hawker Beechcraft Services (HBS) maintenance centers in the U.S., including Little Rock, Ark.; Tampa, Fla.; Atlanta, Ga.; Indianapolis, Ind.; Wichita, Kan.; Houston, Texas; San Antonio, Texas; and Mesa, Arizona, met the requirements for excellence in aircraft maintenance training.
To achieve the Diamond Award, a facility must have 100 percent of its employees participating in the FAA’s Maintenance Technician Program. Individuals can receive a Bronze, Silver or Gold Award. The awards are based on the number of hours of FAA-approved aviation maintenance training received throughout the year.
