Jet Source named Piper Service Center

By Janice Wood · May 3, 2011 ·

Piper Aircraft Co. has named Jet Source, located in Carlsbad, Calif.,  the new Piper Service Center for southern California.

“We are delighted to join the Piper family and look forward to working closely with the aircraft sales team at Cutter Piper Sales,” said Ian Ewing, VP, Business Development at Jet Source, which is located at McClellan-Palomar Airport.

Cal Lewis, Maintenance Manager for Jet Source, added: “Jet Source is an FAA Part 145 Approved Repair Station for both airframe and avionics repair and the addition of the Piper Service Center will allow us to grow our business even further within the General Aviation community. We are looking forward to welcoming all Piper owners to our facility here in Carlsbad.”

As a Piper Service Center, Jet Source will offer factory trained maintenance technicians that will perform routine airframe and avionics maintenance on all Piper products, including those repairs that are covered under the manufacturers new aircraft warranty programs. The Piper Service Center can be reached at 760-804-3160.
