Landmark begins operations at ATL

By Janice Wood · May 4, 2011 ·

Landmark Aviation, which was selected as the new FBO provider at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport in February, officially began operations May 1.

“We have been looking forward to being a part of the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta Airport and community,” said Dan Bucaro, President & CEO of Landmark Aviation. “ATL is the busiest commercial airport in the country. We appreciate the trust the City of Atlanta has put in us. We are committed to providing exceptional service and uncompromising safety and security for our customers, just as we do at all of the Landmark locations across the network. We take this commitment, as well as our commitments to all of the communities in which our FBOs operate, very seriously.”

Landmark Aviation’s FBO at ATL will be another of the company’s “Landmark Cares” facilities. “Landmark Cares” is a program that supports charitable efforts in the local community. For every gallon of fuel sold at the FBO in Atlanta, Landmark will make a donation to local non-profit and charitable organizations.

“We will immediately begin capital improvement projects to upgrade the FBO, including both the terminal and ramp, and will be looking to hire additional service employees from the local community as part of our efforts to provide exceptional service,” added Bucaro. “Landmark is committed to being a strong partner to the Airport and local communities, and is dedicated to bringing additional business to Hartsfield-Jackson.”

Headquartered in Houston, Landmark Aviation operates a network of FBOs located throughout the U.S., and in Canada and Western Europe. For more information: www.landmarkaviation.com
