Bogert Aviation has more to strut about

By Janice Wood · May 10, 2011 ·

Bogert Aviation has added a 30X Strut Pump to its catalog of strut servicing tools. Inert gas can be boosted up to 3000 psi to struts and other inflatables. The Bogert 30X Strut Pump is portable and versatile with an ergonomic slide valve operation. An added benefit of boosting to 3000 psi allows more draw down from nitrogen tanks saving on refilling, according to company officials.

“Innovative designs often come out of the ‘aggressive lazy man syndrome.’ As an aircraft mechanic, I created special tools to make difficult jobs simple and perform the maximum amount of work with the least amount of effort,” says Richard Bogert, president of Bogert Aviation. “I want to help pilots and mechanics work hard at the things they love and smart at the things they don’t.”

The Bogert 30X Strut Pump includes a 7 ft. hose. Nitrogen adapter sold separately.
