A new way to market GA

By Janice Wood · May 19, 2011 ·

Hawker Beechcraft Corp. is opening a customer gallery in the prestigious Claridge’s Hotel in the heart of Mayfair London. The gallery is designed to “find new and creative ways to be where our customers are,” company officials said.

The gallery, which opens May 25, will be staffed by a team of professionals who will provide guidance on the company’s full product lineup, including turnkey solutions to aircraft ownership and support.

“This gallery is a direct result of our ongoing efforts to find new and creative ways to be where our customers are, especially as we continue to expand our international footprint,” said Sean McGeough, HBC president, Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). “Claridge’s Hotel is a perfect fit with the international make-up of its guests, as well as its similar heritage with that of HBC.”

Last year the company carried out in-depth discussions with more than 3,000 owners and operators worldwide and established a customer advisory board consisting of 50 owners from 30 countries. The new London gallery is one result from these discussions regarding how to best serve the needs of existing and prospective clients. Further, Claridge’s is seeing an increasing number of guests from the EMEA region, which mirrors the growth in sales that HBC is seeing in this area.

The Hawker Beechcraft Gallery at Claridge’s is located at 51 Brook Street, London W1K 4HL, UK and can be contacted at +44 (0) 1244 523804.
