By Janice Wood · May 19, 2011 ·

Making its debut is VFRGuide.com, a new online portal and social network for aerodrome users and pilots traveling in Europe.

VFRGuide.com contains integrated and automated digital aeronautical data of 36 European countries arranged for private pilots. It includes General, En-route data and a brief description of aerodromes with cartographic data, according to company officials, who note the Aerodromes section is integrated into the Aerodrome User Network, which is designed to help pilots meet people with common interests, connect with friends, chat and comment various topics, share experience, documents and pictures.
