MGW joins Avfuel network

By Janice Wood · June 9, 2011 ·

Morgantown Municipal Airport (MGW), in Morgantown, W.Va., has joined the Avfuel network of FBOs.

Recognized as one of the “best small cities in the country,” Morgantown is home to West Virginia University as well as a growing infrastructure of healthcare, recreation, and commerce. In addition, Morgantown serves as a gateway to Washington, D.C. With daily multiple departures to Dulles International Airport (IAD), Morgantown provides both business travelers and vacationers with easy access to the nation’s capital, as well as to Dulles’s myriad of international flight options.

“Morgantown Municipal Airport gives visitors effortless access to large cities and business centers while providing a comfortable, customer service-centered atmosphere,” said Avfuel Director of Marketing Marci Ammerman. “Avfuel is excited to partner with an FBO offering such a combination of convenience, services, and customer satisfaction.”

Morgantown Municipal Airport meets the needs of pilots and passengers with full ground services, aircraft ground handling, sale of fuel and oil, hangar and tie-down space and pilot-planning services. The long runways and FAA-contracted control tower can accommodate large aircraft as well as small. Staff can assist with hotel accommodations, car rentals, conference room rentals, catering, directions throughout the area and recreational recommendations.
