Northeast Aviation Technologies becomes UNIFLIGHT West Penn

By Janice Wood · June 14, 2011 ·

Following the acquisition of NorthEast Aviation Technologies by private equity investor Hawke Aerospace Group, the company will now be known as UNIFLIGHT West Penn.

Located at the Rostraver Airport in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, UNIFLIGHT West Penn will continue to perform fixed and rotary wing maintenance, repair and overhaul. The FAR Part 145 repair station specializes in avionics, structures, and inspections, and will expand its capabilities as part of the UNIFLIGHT group of companies, company officials said.

UNIFLIGHT West Penn joins three other locations owned by Hawke Aerospace Group. UNIFLIGHT’s headquarters are in Grand Prairie, Texas, with additional locations at Griffiss International Airport in New York (UNIFLIGHT Rome) and Reading Regional Airport in Berks County, Pennsylvania (UNIFLIGHT North East), as well as the new location in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania (UNIFLIGHT West Penn).
