Writers to sign their books at museum this weekend

On June 18 and 19 the Museum of Flight in Seattle will host a weekend book signing with nine of the most popular aviation novelists and nonfiction writers in the Northwest. The event is free, with books available for purchase.

Scheduled to appear Saturday, June 18:

  • Jay Spenser, author of several books including “Whirlybirds: A History of U.S. Helicopter Pioneers”
  • Steve Vermillion – “Dustoff – No Compromise! No Rationalization! No Hesitation! Fly the Mission”
  • Jack W. Burke – “A Life Aloft”
  • Ted Huetter – “Edwards Air Force Base”
  • Novelist Paul Byers – “Catalyst”

Sunday, June 19:

  • Steve Ellis and Ed Davies, authors of “Seattle’s Commercial Aviation”
  • Mohan Pandey – “How Boeing Defied The Airbus Challenge”
  • Ted Huetter – “Edwards Air Force Base”
  • Novelist Karl Friedrich – “Wings: A Novel Of World War II Flygirls”
  • Novelist Paul Byers – “Catalyst”
