ZuluLog.com debuts new software for law enforcement record keeping

By Janice Wood · June 19, 2011 ·

ZuluLog.com, a provider of cloud-based aviation record keeping services and software, has released its new online software service for tracking law enforcement and EMS operations.

The new service is built specifically for police and emergency response agencies, and allows tracking of all aspects of missions, pilots, aircraft, maintenance, and scheduling, as well as secure document management.

“Many of our new customers over the last 12 months are state-level law enforcement agencies, and most of them have similar operational requirements regarding what they need to track, record, and report on,” says Kelly J. Bonner, Vice President of Customer Relations. “For example, most law enforcement agencies categorize their operations into various mission types, and our system can track and report on that easily. Also, agencies generally operate both rotorcraft and fixed-wing aircraft, and our software can analyze time based on category and class as well as many other data fields.”

Both FAA and Transport Canada regulations are supported. Customers can also choose to commission custom development, for example to replicate existing paper reports or other documents, or to track compliance with special training or currency requirements, he added.

ZuluLog.com’s cloud-based service is compatible with PC, Mac, Linux, iPhone, Android, iPad, and any other device with a secure Web browser.
