Kearney Aviation Center joins Avfuel network

By Janice Wood · June 21, 2011 ·

Kearney Regional Airport’s newest FBO, Kearney Aviation Center, has joined the Avfuel network. Fully operational as of June 1 at EAR, the Nebraska FBO will offer Avfuel products and services, including contract fuel and AVTRIP.

Aviator and owner Phil Jossi opened his FBO due to what he felt was the “region’s need for a service-oriented FBO that offered competitive prices and responsive customer care.” A pilot himself, Jossi said he drew on personal experience as a basis for the service model at Kearney Aviation Center. “From the moment the aircraft is parked and the red carpet rolled out, we strive to make the KAC experience one that exceeds the expectations of pilots and passengers,” said Jossi. “We want our customers to depart saying ‘Wow, what a great experience.”

Guests of KAC will enjoy amenities such as complimentary beverages, wireless internet, and discounts on rental cars, accommodations and more, according to company officials. A build-out scheduled for completion by mid-July will add a conference room, offices space and a pilot’s lounge.
